Persistence requires a longer commitment than courage.
We don’t have to succeed over night.
We do have to make a hard effort to radically accept we cannot achieve a goal instantly.
Because life doesn’t happen instantly.
Just like a caterpillar has to grow its chrysalis in order to turn into a butterfly.
A fruit does not appear until flowers blossom and wither.
The beautiful strong stem of a tree shows its patient growth over a century.
Take a step a time,
even life is a long journey.
The difficult part in life is we look too much at the past or the future.
The balance is we put more time on the moment to moment living.
Focus on our little steps,
as we accept we can only do this much at a time.
Slow down our pace,
and we get time to appreciate the beauty and small things around us.
We don’t have to be afraid we lose our way,
or become too far from the goal.
It is when we become calm,
that clarity emerges.
