I walk by these flowers many times and
don’t remember seeing them.
They are just some of the small decorations planted on the street.
They appear insignificant.

At one point I wonder if I am one of these flowers.
In fact many of us are the small flowers,
existing and not being noticed.
How many people have we come across each day and we know nothing about them.
Or we ask the question,
do we want to know.

Each flower has its own beauty and unique structure.
Every individual deserves to be looked at and respected.
Empowerment often starts with a simple exchange and connection.
