I was just planning to write a few things,
and then I realized it’s Monday today.

I want want to put down a few words of empowerment.
I think of the people I know.
Some just moved home and had to spend the whole weekend packing, cleaning and unpacking.
Some just finally got a quiet break after some difficult life challenges confronted.
Some relaxing well and was in a light mood.

There are also the ongoing social discontent.
Mass shootings are one of the most terrorizing means of fear.
The mass protects in Hong Kong have not just caused social instability, but more importantly misunderstanding, distrust and further segregation between social groups.
32 lives were perished in the houthi missile attack at the military parade in Yemen.
And it was just after a week since the suicidal bombing happened in the country.

The more we read,
the more we get distressed how chaotic the world is.
Many choose to stop knowing,
but this act is close to turning a blind eye.

The difficult thing is us holding positivity and negativity together.
We continue to live with the brutal truth of this global inequality,
and seek empowerment for positive change in no matter small or bigger forms.

Perhaps this is the philosophy of empowerment.
